Coastal Clean-Up

This past week has been a very stressful one. Most of my major requirements which compose at least 30% of my final marks were all due in consecutive days all week long. I haven’t had much sleep, have been running on energy drinks to keep myself alive and right now, my eye bags are so much bigger than my eyes. I’ve even started wearing black again just to mourn the death of sleeping. Seriously.

But despite my head-throbbing, mind-numbing, body-shaking exhaustion, I’ve decided to sacrifice my 7th consecutive night of sleep to wake up at dawn for the Ateneo Environmental Science Society’s Coastal Clean-up in Batangas. :D

There’s nothing more fulfilling than getting your hands dirty to help protect our environment. I think that hands-on, face-to-face physical activities help us appreciate our cause that much more.

So for now, I’m more than happy to sacrifice another night’s rest. Goodbye, sleep.

It’s time to be a full-fledged Ateneo ESS EcoWarrior again. :D
