Finally got out of the house today…

I’m feeling all better now. I still have a cold though but it’s fine. :D

This afternoon, I got a call from Mr. President asking me to attend a meeting for the AESS Week. Being desperate for some fresh air and a change of ambiance from the usual messy off-white block which is my room, I went ahead and said “yes.” 

In the meeting was, of course President GMA, Yaya (pronounced: “yah-yuh”; meaning: Nanny) Idette, and Justin whose name I only learned after we were almost done with the two and a half hour meeting (sorry, Justin). 

So after a couple of hours of planning and trying to make Mr. President happy about the event, lo and behold, I came home with a huge pile of work to do. Now I have to go to school tomorrow and a few days next week to do food quality assessments, a venue layout, project proposals for concessionaires and a few more odd jobs. HAHA! Oh well. At least I’m doing something other than staying in bed. Besides, this is what I signed up for. 

I can’t say I love my job but I don’t hate it as well. I just kinda sorta like it sometimes, sorta. But I do know one thing: I love my org to death; enough to make me happy and willing to sacrifice my vacation after this hellish mofo semester. :)
