2nd Semester Enlistment
Yup, it’s that time of the year again when every Atenean fights tooth and nail and to the death to enlist for their classes through the dreaded AISIS. Isn’t it ironic that people show their competitiveness and “Fuck Off, bitches”-ness during this time of the year more so than during Finals Week?
I have to admit, I am also subject to this aggressive epidemic resulting in me going something like “F@#$ YOU, AISIS YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF SH*%!!! WHO THE F%#@ STOLE MY SLOT???!!! THOSE F%$#ING SONS OF BIT#@*!!!” right in front of my monitor.
Anyway, this is what happened to me today: I figured that I had better start off with my Management electives so that I could get the ones I wanted (and I did). I actually took the very last slots for both of my electives, so that was pretty lucky. A little piece of advise to the lower batches who follow me here on Tumblr, CLICK SUBMIT and CONFIRM your enlistment once you get the classes you want, even if your enlistment isn’t complete yet. Got it? You could always go back to the enlistment page and sign up for other classes after you confirm the ones you want. You wont be penalized. Don’t mind the WARNING sign.
But here’s what kind of pissed me off today- I got Mr. Mendoza for my Theology class AGAIN this semester. *Sigh* Theology in Filipino.

I kind of swore never to take a Filipino class ever again after his class last semester, but I had no choice. It was between him and Rosana, and I had Rosana on my blacklist. Here’s why:

You see, enlistments generally settle down by 5pm or so. These were taken tonight at around 8pm. While most of the other professors have their classes full already, her’s still have lots of free slots open because nobody wants to take her class. I kind of figured this would be the case considering all of the horror stories I’ve heard about her. They say she’s nice outside class though. But I’d rather she be nice inside class as well. (Disclaimer: I have nothing against the aforementioned professors.)
Oh well. I’d rather go Filipino again than take her class.
Here’s a life lesson, kids: 3rd and 4th batch suck. If you find yourself in either, don’t bother trying to fix a schedule beforehand. You’ll only hurt yourself.
Good luck to all of you. ^.^
