Turtle Walk 2011- Morong, Bataan

Did you know that there are 7 species of sea turtle in the world? The largest of the 7 species- the leatherback sea turtle- can reach up to 700 kilograms (1540 lbs). Holy cow! That’s like more than 10 Chinese Vegan Boys! 0____0

Did you know that temperature determines the gender of sea turtle hatchlings? The higher the temperature, the higher the chance that the turtle will become female. The lower the temperature, the higher the probability that it’ll be male. Hmmm… I wonder if this applies to everyone. XD

Anyway, we got to release sea turtle (pawikan) hatchlings to the sea. That’s another thing off my bucket list! :D
